I was coming home from the barn one day and saw two rainbows just like the ones portrayed here and this landscape just came into my mind.
This also depicts the 3rd character I've created, Memoria, whose drawing I just deleted from here because it was too old. I hadn't drawn him since 2006 and I decided to put him here.

This was drawn on the beginning of this year, my goal for this year, when it comes down to art, is to improve my backgrounds, I tend to make the equines very detailed and get lazy on the background. This gave me a good way to practice.
Mountains are a huge pain for me, but this was the first time I was happy with how they looked.
I had never drawn rainbows, snow covered mountains or water standing completely still so I was very pleased with how this came out.

The scanner killed the grass, it missed a lot of the darker tones, oh well, it still looks good I guess.
