I was flicking through, and I thought I would come check out all of your art again, and it seems like there are some pieces missing...or am I just going mad? Joana Figueiredo replies: "No, you aren’t going mad (: I did some cleaning here a while ago when I decided that I wanted to be a little more active on this site. I needed some space, since you have a limit for the number of pieces on your gallery, so I had to make some hard choices and part with some of my oldest creations and the comments I had on them, I only kept those I never even considered removing from my gallery like "May He Rest In Peace", I cannot imagine this gallery without that work as it is very meaningful to me. This gallery was quite outdated, so I guessed some cleaning wouldn’t harm." | |

I’m mad on horses and to see your stunning art was inspirational. If i could be only half as good with the shading, detail and realism it would be great! Joana Figueiredo replies: "Aww, you’re welcome (: Your gallery is lovely as well and I’m sure with lots of practice you’ll get far, you’re very skilled. If there’s anything that drawing for all these years has taught is that you can always get where you want if you practice and ask for advice! I would have never gotten this far if it weren’t for the amazing help my fellow artists and friends gave me since I started to take drawing more seriously and strive to improve (5 years ago, I think).
